OTOTO — Revenue

Revenue

The fourth quarter carries the year. October to December was 62% of the twelve months to August 2026, and December alone was 40%. The three Decembers on the chart were each bigger than the last, while the months between have shrunk. Roughly three dollars in ten of each month are kept after the goods, duty, freight, Amazon’s two fees and advertising. That share uses August 2026’s cost rates for every month, and unit costs nobody has quoted.

The series counts every Amazon listing carrying the brand, each once, at the price in effect at each month end, whichever account held the buy box. That makes August read low. Gracula, Splatypus and Elizabat all ended the month on sale at under $10. At the buy boxes of 16 September, August’s units come to $241,298.

Which Amazon marketplaces it sells in

All of the measured revenue is Amazon US. The same account sells in Canada, where nothing was measured.

Shares of the latest month’s Amazon revenue, from Amazon’s sold badges. Only the Ototo seller id was looked up on each marketplace.

No listing carries the month. The crab spoon rest, the bat scissors, Gracula and Splatypus lead, each around a twentieth, and 79 more listings sell 50 to 600 a month each. The Nessie listings, the brand’s best-known shape, were under 5%.

“Sold / mo” is Amazon’s own badge at the end of August 2026, a band — hence n+. Revenue is that band times the buy box then, so every row is a floor, and several rows were on sale. The other 1,131 brand listings carried no badge and count as zero. One row’s buy box was a reseller’s at the month end, and the row says so.

Revenue is a floor and profit is a ceiling. The badge is a bucket (“1K+” counts as 1,000), and 37 listings sat at 1,000 or more in December 2025. And this is Amazon US alone. Target, Walmart, the brand’s own site and its distributors are not on the chart.
