Sales from January–August 2026 ran 45% below the same months of 2025 — straight after the brand's best month in three years of data. The 2004 Tel Aviv design studio behind it now sits in the portfolio of Essor, formed when Amazon aggregator BRANDED bought Heyday.

OTOTO is estimated to make $211,372 per month in revenue, on roughly $66,147 of monthly profit — a margin of about 31%. It operates in Amazon FBA, Kitchen gadgets, Private Label, Shopify, Wholesale, Consumers, One-off product.

OTOTO makes kitchen gadgets shaped like characters: a Loch Ness monster ladle, a vampire garlic crusher, bat-winged scissors. A Tel Aviv design studio started it in 2004. It now sits in the portfolio of Essor, and Amazon US is one of several places it sells.

A monster in the soup pot

Every product is a joke you can cook with. Nessie the ladle stands up in the pot. Gracula crushes garlic when you twist his head. Red the Crab clips to the rim and holds the spoon. Around them are bat scissors and a bat wine opener, gnome dish brushes, cat tea infusers, a knight vegetable peeler and a vampire umbrella. Most sell for $10–35, and the range leans hard on Halloween and gifts. Ori Saidi and Daniel Gassner started OTOTO as a design studio in Tel Aviv in 2004. The name is Hebrew for “any minute now”.

Amazon US is one channel among several, and it is the only one measured here. OTOTO also sells on its own site, in Target stores, at Walmart, CVS and The Container Store, through Faire, and through distributors in more than 30 countries. None of those is sized. The figures on this page count all 1,214 Amazon listings carrying the brand, each once, and the brand’s own account held 96.6% of that revenue over the last twelve months.

That account is registered to Branded Acquico No 4, LLC, in New York, and OTOTO sits in the portfolio of Essor, the company formed when the Amazon aggregator BRANDED bought Heyday. When OTOTO joined the group, and on what terms, is not in anything read.
