Attributed at each month end, so a reseller holding the buy box on that day takes the whole month’s badge for that listing. Keepa’s seller records, read 16 September 2026.

OTOTO began as a studio. Ori Saidi and Daniel Gassner met at the Ascola School of Art and Design in Tel Aviv in 1999, and founded the company in 2004. In 2017–19 the company took Amazon to court in Israel over counterfeit OTOTO products. Gassner was still quoted as co-founder in the November 2024 Target announcement. Whether either founder runs the business now was not read.

The Amazon account is registered to Branded Acquico No 4, LLC, at a New York suite that ototodesign.com now gives as its own address. By its name and address it is a BRANDED company, though no company filing was read. BRANDED, which TechCrunch called an Amazon marketplace consolidator, bought Heyday in 2024, and the combined company became Essor. Its announcement names OTOTO Design in the portfolio, beside brands such as Boka, ZitSticka and Puracy. When OTOTO joined, and on what terms, was not found. Keepa keeps no history of the account’s name, so the series cannot show a before and after.

These details are resolved from the seller record behind the brand’s Amazon storefront, its buy-box history, the company’s own site and releases, and press coverage of BRANDED and Essor.
