This Mahjong Brand Does $78.5K/Month In Profit on Amazon

None of 48 sponsored slots on four searches was theirs, not even on their own brand name. August's sales were eleven times their first month's — and they are already taking pre-orders for $299 Christmas sets.

Virora Mahjong is estimated to make $170,650 per month in revenue, on roughly $78,499 of monthly profit — a margin of about 46%. It operates in Amazon FBA, Mahjong, Private Label, Shopify, Consumers, One-off product.

Virora Mahjong sells 160-tile acrylic American mahjong sets and rubber table mats, almost entirely on Amazon. The brand is ten months old there, and three different seller accounts sell its listings.

One set, listed many times

Fifty-three Amazon listings carry the brand. Most are 160-tile, 4-layer acrylic American sets in Rose Pink, Purple, Green and Pink, with racks, dice and a tile bag in a gift box. Beside them sit mini sets for children, 3mm rubber table mats in a run of floral colourways, and — in the same storefront — three Pumiboo Christian sound books for toddlers.

The same set is often listed several times over. The Rose Pink set exists as at least five ASINs, and Amazon’s sold badge moves from one to the next within weeks. Two of the three accounts that sell the listings are e-commerce companies in Xuzhou, China, and one of them trades under the brand’s own name.

Two of the brand’s own Amazon listing images: the set on its racks over one of their mats, and the hand-painting their marketing leans on — their own claim, and not one anybody has checked.
