On Amazon the question is who does the selling, and for most of the badge history it was not the publisher. Off Amazon, Kickstarter comes first.
Keepa records who held the buy box on every brand listing. Until October 2025 it was multi-brand hobby and arbitrage sellers — Board Game Retail, Kings Games, Blazing Dealz! and a dozen more — presumably stocked through hobby distribution, with Amazon itself on a few listings in a handful of months. Restoration’s own account first held a month-end buy box in November 2025, on 9% of that month’s brand sales; it held 79% on the September 2026 badge. That the company chose to take its listings over is an inference from that record; nothing public announces it.
Off Amazon, the games are launched on Kickstarter, sold in the company’s own shop, stocked by hobby distributors and listed at Target. What follows is presence rather than share, and a method nobody looked for is listed as unchecked rather than counted as absent.
