The brand’s Amazon sales grew, and on the day search was read it held no generic sponsored slots. The demand appears to come from somewhere else, and Kickstarter is where the company built its audience.
Counting every seller, the brand’s Amazon sales were $577,577 over October 2025 to September 2026, against $412,504 the year before — 40% more. That is the brand, not this account: until November 2025 almost all of it went through resellers, and the own account has no year-ago figure to compare. On the one day Amazon search was read, Restoration held none of the sponsored slots on four generic board-game searches.
What it did have was a crowd. Tabletop Analytics counts eleven Kickstarter campaigns from 2017 to 2025 and about $14.4M pledged. That total needs two warnings: it includes a cancelled 2021 Thunder Road: Vendetta campaign whose $278,732 was never collected, and its backer count adds up backings, so a person who backed several campaigns is counted several times. The largest were Return to Dark Tower in 2020 and Fireball Island in 2018. That this audience drives Amazon demand is the dossier’s reading; nothing measures it.
Neither of the two biggest Kickstarter titles, Return to Dark Tower and Fireball Island, carries a sold badge on Amazon now. The Amazon money comes from Thunder Road and Unmatched.
